Women's Mental Health Conference on November 3 The 6th Annual Research Conference of HMS' Center of Excellence in Women's Health will focus on "Women's Mental Health from Childhood through Adulthood" and will take place on Thursday, November 3. Topics include basic science, epidemiological, and psychosocial research overviews of women's mental health, as well as research about mental health concerns related to drug exposure in pregnancy, risks and benefits of SSRI treatment for girls, multicultural perspectives on depression and women, impact of depression on alcohol use, menopause and mental health, and the functional decline of women with aging. The conference is free of charge and will take place from 12 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. at The New Research Building, 77 Avenue Louis Pasteur. Interested presenters should send an abstract to Lindsay Giorgi, program coordinator at the Center, at lgiorgi@partners.org by Wednesday, October 19.
