Stanley Estime, Senior QA/QI Specialist, is responsible for providing Quality Improvement Program (QIP) services for the Longwood Area IRB, serving the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Dental Medicine research community. Specifically, Stanley manages incoming research support service requests such as IRB submission assistance, study start-up consultation, on-site reviews, and external audit preparation. Stanley works with investigators and their study staff providing consultation and guidance on regulatory requirements and institutional policies. Stanley also presents focused educational lectures to the research community upon request. Prior to joining Harvard Longwood Medical Area Schools’ Quality Improvement Program Stanley worked as a QA/QI Specialist for over 5 years with the Partners Human Research Quality Improvement Program that oversees IRB-approved studies conducted at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). Stanley is a Certified IRB Professional (CIP). He received his BS in Biomedical Laboratory and Clinical Science from Boston University and holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Investigations from the MGH Institute of Health Professions.
