ID Cards and Visitor Passes

Harvard Longwood Campus (HLC) ID Office

NEW Location – 77 Avenue Louis Pasteur Room 133 (NRB building across from Aliqouts Cafe)

The Harvard Longwood Campus ID Office is open for walk-in services Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. (excluding University holidays).  The process for obtaining a Harvard University ID (HUID) card includes the option to have your photo taken in-person or via selfie submission.  Please bring a valid government issued ID (i.e., Driver’s license, passport, etc.) to validate your identity when picking up your HUID.

Hospital affiliates with Harvard appointments: Email the Longwood ID Office a passport style photo. The photo must be in color with you facing forward in front of a smooth white background and in .jpeg format. Our email is idoffice@hsph.harvard.edu

Harvard Paid Employees:  Email us your signed and completed Harvard ID application.  If you work in a lab, please also submit your EH&S training certificates, specifically we need the general lab safety and lab biosafety certificates. Tenants, Contractors and Vendors: Your sponsor should notify you once your Harvard ID number has been generated at which point you can email the ID Office a passport style color photo with you facing forward in front of a smooth white background and in .jpeg format. Our email is idoffice@hsph.harvard.edu

Once we receive the above required items, we will upload your photo and print the ID; you will be notified via email once the ID card has been printed. The ID card can be picked up at 677 Huntington Avenue from 7 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday- Friday (excluding Harvard holidays). You are required to present a valid government issued ID (i.e., Driver’s license, passport, etc.) to validate your identity and pick up your ID card.
