11:00-11:30 Information Session: Student Computing, Kresge LL-6
Hands-on introduction to student computing at HSPH. Topics include: logging in, saving and printing your work, software overview, course websites, myHSPH, email, and how to get help with statistical computing.

11:00-12:00 Information Session: A Practical Guide to Countway Digital Library, FXB G-12
The Countway Library provides access to the Harvard Libraries’ Catalog (HOLLIS), online databases, electronic journals and books, and a variety of services via their web site. Learn how to take advantage of these resources in this introductory session. Special brown bag lunch seminars and our consultation service will also be discussed.

11:00-12:00 Information Session: STATA, Kresge 213
STATA is the primary statistical software package used in the introductory Biostatistics courses (BIO200 and BIO201), and is used in some other courses at HSPH as well.  The session instructor will cover the same STATA topics covered in the on-line tutorial. Students may wish to avail of these learning modules.

12:00-1:00 LUNCH

Pick up your tickets for most events during Orientation week (August 25-29) from 11:30 am – 1:30pm in the Office for Student Affairs – Kresge 604.
