9:00-10:00 Core Course Guidance Panel, Kresge G-1*
This session provides students with an overview of core course requirements. Information will be presented by faculty from the following departments: Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Policy and Management, Environmental Health, Global Health and Population, and Social and Behavioral Sciences. The school-wide ethics and practicum core course requirements also will be discussed.
Students will be provided with useful tips on how to register for HSPH courses via MyHSPH, change their grading options, manage course wait lists, and much more. Students will also be reminded about important registration deadlines to pay attention to throughout the academic year.

5:00-6:30 Advice from Public Health Experts, Kresge Cafeteria
The Advice from Public Health Experts Program is a fast-paced, highly interactive round table program that gives students the opportunity to meet with three public health practitioners during twenty minute rotations. There will be the opportunity to ask questions that will help to identify the key skills, training, and experiences necessary for a successfully transition from student to public health professional. Also, this program will introduce you the rich mentoring and networking opportunities that are available at HSPH.
