Research

Tracking Plasmodium falciparum malaria drug resistance and gaining a better understanding of the epidemiology of malaria in West Africa are my primary research interests. In addition to research activities at HSPH and Le Dantec Teaching Hospital in Dakar, I train students from Universite Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar in molecular biology laboratory techniques and provide technical support to the West African Network of Excellence on TB, AIDS, and Malaria.
