Teaching and Learning

Taking courses

Postdocs can take courses at the Harvard Chan School as non-degree students. This requires enrolling as a non-degree student. You may also need to contact the instructor for permission to attend the class.

Interested postdocs should look over the deadlines for enrolling. More information about the process for enrolling is described here.

Postdocs can also take courses through the Extension Center for only $40 per course and can sign up for workshops and events through Harvard Catalyst.

Teaching Opportunities

Interested postdocs have opportunities to teach and help design course materials through the Harvard Medical School nanocourse program. The HSPH PDA is currently working on Introduction to Public Health as well as other course offerings. For further information on nanocourses, contact the PDA Chair of Educational Initiatives.

For additional opportunities to teach or to learn formal didactic theory, visit the Office of Education.
