How to become an HPES Partner

HPES may be a useful resource if you are in a position to work at scale within a defined system to initiate or improve a rigorous approach to peer education. HPES provides assistance with advocacy, assessment and situation analysis, strategic planning, training and ongoing technical assistance, materials and tool development, monitoring and evaluation, recognition and accreditation, and research.

HPES is most interested in, and experienced with, partnerships involving:

  • Collaborations between two or more government departments, perhaps joined by NGO, corporate or higher education partners, to build, evaluate and sustain an integrated and intersectoral peer education system within a geographic area (city, state or province, nation).
  • Single government departments seeking help to design, pilot, evaluate and roll out a peer education system within their own setting (schools, clinics, sports programs, worksites, etc.).
  • Large NGOs, faith-based or sports organizations using or seeking to develop peer education strategies in multiple sites.

HPES negotiates partnership arrangements and MOU's on a partner-by-partner basis, and will assist prospective partners in securing funding for promising opportunities.

While we make some of our materials available to those working in individual programs or sites, we believe that the methodical development of a systems approach to rigorous peer education requires a partnership involving sustained collaboration.
