Directions

By Subway (the T):
Take the MBTA Red Line (Alewife train) to Harvard Square. Walk south on Massachusetts Avenue and turn right on Bow Street. The Harvard Center for Population and Development Studies and the PGDA are located on the right side of the street (past Grafton Street and Dunkin Donuts), at 9 Bow Street, 2nd Floor.

By Car:
From Logan Airport
Follow signs for I-90 West (Massachusetts Turnpike/Ted Williams Tunnel). Take I-90 West to exit 20 for Allston and Cambridge. Bear right toward Cambridge. Continue straight, crossing over the River Street Bridge. Turn left at the second light after crossing the bridge, onto Putnam Avenue. At the fork, cross Mount Auburn Street and bear left onto Massachusetts Avenue. Take your next left onto Bow Street. Harvard Center for Population and Development Studies/PGDA is located on the right side of the street.

From North and South of Boston
Take I-93 North or South to exit 20 for I-90 West (Massachusetts Turnpike). Take I-90 West to exit 20 for Allston and Cambridge. Bear right toward Cambridge. Continue straight, crossing over the River Street Bridge. Turn left at the second light after crossing the bridge, onto Putnam Avenue. At the fork, cross Mount Auburn Street and bear left onto Massachusetts Avenue. Take your next left onto Bow Street. HCPDS /PGDA is located on the right at 9 Bow Street, 2nd Floor.

From I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) Allston/Cambridge Exit
Take the Allston and Cambridge exit. Bear right toward Cambridge. Continue straight, crossing over the River Street Bridge. Turn left at the second light after crossing the bridge, onto Putnam Avenue. At the fork, cross Mount Auburn Street and bear left onto Massachusetts Avenue. Take your next left onto Bow Street. HCPDS/PGDA will be on your right-hand side at 9 Bow Street, 2nd Floor.
