The Division fosters a connection between scientists and policy-makers to strengthen leadership and impact health and well-being worldwide. For practitioners and students who aspire to lead in critical times, The Division provides instruction and real-time support during crises.
The Division offers programs in global and national leadership, health systems implementation, emergency response and communications and other activities.
The Division also houses The Leadership Studio, a state-of-the-art webcasting and videoconferencing facility that convenes expert researchers and policy-makers to consider compelling health issues of the day.
The Division is directed by Robert J. Blendon, Senior Associate Dean for Policy Translation and Leadership Development. Dr. Blendon is Professor of Health Policy and Political Analysis at Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) and holds a joint appointment at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
