1. Center Seminars and Special Events – The Center’s regularly scheduled seminars both encourage interdisciplinary exchange and also allow for more specialized exchange that helps the Center’s researchers move their intellectual agendas forward. In addition, the Center hosts sessions on data management and qualitative/quantitative research methods.
2. Friday Lunch Seminar Series - These informal, hour-long seminars provide a forum for attendees to learn about the latest research from Center members, to present “work-in-progress,” or to gain insight into latest research methodologies. These lunches serve as opportunities to benefit from the critical comments and ideas of colleagues in terms of the hypotheses being tested, analytical methods being used, data collection issues, etc. All fellows and visiting scholars will present at least one Friday lunch session during the year as part of their participation in Center activities.
