Massachusetts Coalition on Obesity Prevention
and Education (MA COPE)

Members of the HPRC's Core Community Committee along with HPRC
staff formed the MA COPE in collaboration with the Legislative Children's
Caucus. Our coalition members come from a variety of organizations
dedicated to reducing the prevalence of childhood obesity in the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts by translating current research into
action. We employ many methods to educate and inform our policy
leaders, including hosting an annual legislative breakfast for
MA State House staff and members.
