Doctoral Tuition and Fees
Doctoral students must pay full-time tuition for a designated number of years, depending on their previous affiliation with the School of Public Health. Students must pay the appropriate tuition rate for each registration period as outlined in Appendix H: Tuition and Fees of the Student Handbook.

All doctoral students are obligated to meet the residency requirement (pay tuition) for the degree regardless of status or if the degree is completed in less time than the residency requirement stipulates. Tuition paid for summer courses, independent study, tutorial and research work, as well as additional tuition paid by students who are over credit cannot be applied toward any tuition requirements for the degree.

Resident Status
All degree candidates who are enrolled in courses or who intend to use any Harvard academic facilities (e.g., libraries, computer labs) must register as resident students.
