The Role of Funders
Funders play a critical role in shaping the research agenda. This
6th section examines the place funders have in maintaining ethical
standards in research. Among the questions examined is the place of
funders as regulatory bodies, the direction of research and its impact
on subject communities, and finally the impact of funding on the
purpose, utilization, and dissemination of research findings.
