Deb Stone , MPH, MSW, is a third year doctoral student at the Harvard School of Public Health. For the past 5 years she has directed the National Center for Suicide Prevention Training (NCSPT), a project federally funded by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) of the Health Resources and Services Administration. NCSPT provides free web-based training in suicide prevention for state MCH, public health, and mental health officials, providers, and other interested people.
