As a Research Scientist for the Center for Global Tobacco Control and Cyprus International Institute for the Environment and Public Health, Mr. Alpert's primary areas of interest are: a) surveillance of design and marketing of all forms of tobacco products and effects on patterns of use, b) second hand tobacco smoke exposure and pediatric illness, and c) applied tobacco control policy research.
