Alyssa Speier, QA/QI Education Specialist, is responsible for providing Quality Improvement Program (QIP) services to the HSPH research community. Alyssa works with investigators and their study staff providing consultation and guidance on regulatory requirements and institutional policies. Alyssa also develops and presents focused educational material to investigators and study staff upon request. Alyssa joined the OHRA in 2005 and worked as IRB analyst conducting protocol reviews. Prior to that, she worked at the Harvard Business School coordinating the computer lab for experimental research. Alyssa earned the Certification of IRB Professionals (CIP) designation in 2007. She received her BA in Psychology from the University of Virginia and her Masters of Science in Health Communication from Tufts School of Medicine.
