Julie Kaberry recently joined the Office of Human Research Administration (OHRA) at Harvard School of Public Health. Julie is responsible for overseeing the IRB review and approval process to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with federal and state requirements. She also serves as an Administrative Chair for the HSPH Institutional Review Board (IRB) where she manages monthly full board meetings. Julie will participate in the development, implementation and refining of OHRA policies and procedures and is also available to provide consultation and guidance on regulatory requirements and institutional policies for the HSPH research community.
Prior to joining HSPH in October 2008, Julie served for 8 years as Sr. QA/QI Specialist in the Partners Quality Improvement (QI) Program. She has also been a member of the Partners IRB since 1999. Julie received her Masters Degree in Health Professions, with a concentration in Health Policy from Northeastern University.
