Dr Bhalla's research involves exploring all aspects of transportation policies in developing countries with main focus on prevention of road traffic injuries. His intrests include injury epidemiology; burden of disease estimation; assessment of social inequities; urban transportation policy; and the use of econometric models for prediction of road safety performance in low income countries.
