Conference of the Program in Quantitative Genomics
2026 PQG Conference: AI for Genomics and Health
The Program in Quantitative Genomics will host its 19th annual conference, “Unleashing the Power of Integrated Multimodal Genomic and Health Data”, at the Joseph Martin Conference Center in Boston, MA, on October 29–30, 2026.
This year’s conference will explore the transformative potential of multimodal data integration in genomics and health, examining how emerging technologies and AI-driven computational approaches can unlock novel biological insights and advance precision medicine.
Recent breakthroughs in single-cell multiomics, radiology-pathology imaging integration, and generative AI models and agentic AI tools for data fusion and analysis are revolutionizing biomedical research. Yet, critical challenges remain: How to best use different modalities of data for elucidating complex biological systems? How can AI models and AI agents be built and optimized for specific biomedical applications and trustworthy discovery? And what infrastructure is required to ensure these technologies translate into clinical impact?
This year’s conference will bring together leading experts from genomics and clinical research domains to discuss cutting-edge AI methodologies and agentic AI tools, applications of foundational models and generative AI models, and the next frontier of multimodal data-driven discovery.
Session 1: Multi-modal Genomics Data
Session 2: Multi-modal Health Data
Session 3: Emerging Technologies
Registration is required. We encourage you to register early for this event.
We highly encourage abstract submissions and participation of all researchers, especially junior researchers, for posters and possible platform presentations. Top abstracts will be selected as stellar abstract award winners to be presented as 10-minute platform talks.
