Symposium Goal
Our goal for the symposium is to establish a scientific and action agenda for advancing the healthy development of children through research, education, policy, and practice. On the occasion of Dr. Richmond’s 90th birthday, this will be a day of learning, fellowship, and a re-invigorated commitment to the health and well-being of children. The symposium format will include plenary presentations and interactive panels framed by Dr. Richmond’s three-factor approach to successful policy --- knowledge base, political will, and social strategy.
