Lodging

Please note that hotels fill rapidly in Boston-Cambridge during the fall season. Plan to reserve your overnight stay as soon as possible. Hotels are listed below to make it easy for you to call and also confirm the rate being offered.

Somewhat lower rates can be found in selected suburbs. Examples include the Days Inn in Allston-Soldiers Field Road; Quality Inn in Lexington; and Holiday Inn Express. The symposium will be held at the Harvard Club, 374 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston. (It is near the intersection with Massachusetts Avenue in Boston.) You can ask your hotel reservations agent for information about distance from the venue.

The hotels listed below are in easy proximity to the Harvard Club, the symposium venue. Elliott and the Harvard Club itself are right there. Generally, travel by cab will be 10-15 minutes. You may wish to choose a hotel on the T "green line" (subway/trolley). This line stops at Hynes/ICA on Massachusetts Ave. Ask for advice from your hotel.

Traveling from Harvard Square and Cambridge: Get on inbound red line train. Get off at Park Street. At Park Street, switch to either the Boston College, Riverside or Cleveland Circle trains. These make a stop at Hynes/ICA.The Harvard Club is almost at the corner of Massachusetts Ave. and Commonwealth Ave. (a 10 minute walk from Hynes/ICA). Any hotel in Brookline is in the neighborhood of the Harvard Club. A cab ride from Cambridge during rush hour will be 15 minutes to the Harvard Club.
