Research
Dr. Goldman’s research and teaching interests are within the field of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and include:
- Repetitive Strain injuries,
- neurotoxicity,
- metals,
- pediatric environmental health, and
- Innovative education in Environmental and Occupational Medicine.
She is a co-project director of a Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit at Cambridge Hospital and Children’s Hospital, Boston. Her research tends to be clinically-based epidemiology. Her previous research project ihas involved a randomized clinical trial of treatment of persistent repetitive strain injury (RSI) with acupuncture or amitriptyline.
CLINICAL
She also sees patients for assessment of environmental/occupational medicine problems at the Cambridge Health Alliance Occupational and Environmental Medicine clinical site, which is an academic clinical site for the HSPH OEM residency.
