GRAPE Training Program

The Global Health Research and Training in Non-Communicable and Perinatal Epidemiology (GRAPE) Program—led by Dr. Bizu Gelaye, is actively involved in RPP research.

GRAPE is a multidisciplinary research and training team that brings together epidemiologists, clinicians, students, and investigators from Harvard University, Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, University of Washington, Georgetown University, Swedish Medical Center, various universities and medical centers in the US and abroad.

The objective of the GRAPE team is to improve current knowledge about the epidemiology and impact of interventions for preventing maternal, perinatal, and non-communicable conditions globally. GRAPE also aims to strengthen and build evidence surrounding effective interventions in these research areas.GRAPE
