Assistant or Associate Professor of Global Maternal and Child Health

The Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard School of Public Health seeks candidates for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Global Maternal and Child Health. This is a tenure-track position, with the academic rank to be determined in accordance with the successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments.

The department seeks candidates to conduct research on the epidemiology of maternal and child health including neonatal health, infectious diseases, and nutrition. The successful candidate will be expected to play a central role in the department’s research and teaching programs in low and middle-income nations. Overseas travel for fieldwork is envisaged.

Candidates should hold a doctoral degree in epidemiology, demography, or related public health discipline, with a demonstrated expertise and interest in conducting quantitative or mixed methods studies. Prior field research in Africa or Asia is highly desirable.
