Assistant or Associate Professor of Immunology and Infectious Diseases

The Department of Immunology and Infectious Diseases at the Harvard School of Public Health seeks outstanding candidates for the position of assistant or associate professor of immunology and infectious diseases. This is a tenure-ladder position, with academic rank to be determined in accordance with the successful candidate’s experience and productivity.

Applicants must have a PhD, MD, DVM, or equivalent degree.  The successful candidate will build and maintain an internationally recognized extramurally funded research program focused on AIDS, with research emphasis on innovative strategies for prevention and control of HIV infection.  Evidence of published research excellence in HIV/AIDS is required.  Evidence of commitment to collaboration with colleagues in developing countries and in other areas of public health is highly desirable. The candidate should possess the scholarly qualities required to mentor doctoral students in the graduate program in the Division of Biological Sciences.
