Assistant or Associate Professor of Nutrition and Global Health

The Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard School of Public Health seeks candidates for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Nutrition and Global Health. This is a tenure-track position, with the academic rank to be determined in accordance with the successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments.

The department seeks candidates who will expand its research on the relationships of nutrition and major causes of disability in low- and middle income countries including discovery and translation research related to maternal and child health, child development, infectious diseases, and the inter-relations of nutrition, agriculture and health. The successful candidate will be expected to play a central role in the department’s teaching programs. Overseas travel for fieldwork is envisaged.

Candidates will hold a doctoral degree in nutrition, epidemiology, demography, global health, or other related disciplines, with a demonstrated expertise and interest in conducting quantitative methods studies.
