Assistant/ Associate Professor of Immunology and Infectious Disease
The Department of Immunology and Infectious Diseases at the Harvard School of Public Health seeks outstanding candidates for the position of assistant or associate professor of immunology and infectious diseases. This is a tenure-ladder position, with academic rank to be determined in accordance with the successful candidate’s experience and productivity.
Applicants must have a PhD, MD, DVM, or equivalent degree with extensive training and experience in microbiology and/or immunology. The successful candidate will build and maintain an internationally recognized extramurally funded research program, with a special emphasis on mycobacteria and tuberculosis. We particularly seek individuals whose expertise complements existing programs in the department. The candidate should possess the ability to work collaboratively with other scientists and the scholarly qualities required to mentor doctoral students in the graduate program in the Division of Biological Sciences.
