First Annual HSPH Live Auction [Kresge cafeteria – food and drinks will be served]

Description: All proceeds from the auction will go to a local non-profit organization that addresses public health or a health disparity. This year, the proceeds will go to Sociedad Latina, which carries out programs that promote community leadership, civic engagement, employment skills, educational attainment and cultural identity and pride among middle and high school youth from Boston public schools. Students, staff and faculty from all departments are invited to donate items or services. Examples include: gift certificates, wine, gift baskets, homemade dinners and/or desserts, tutoring lessons, dance lessons, hosted dinners from department chairs (Dean Julio Frenk has agreed to host dinner in his office as one of the auction items), tickets to sports events, ballet or opera tickets…etc. To volunteer: please contact Monica Wang at Mlwang@hsph.harvard.edu if you are interested in helping out with the event and/or if you have an item or service that you would like to donate (please include a brief description and an estimated value of the item or service). Feel free to be as creative as you would like!
