Paid Summer Opportunity
Exploration Summer Programs – a world-wide leader in summer academic enrichment – seeks highly-motivated and creative college and graduate students with a background in anatomy, EMS training or premedical studies, and/or extensive experience in a pre-hospital or clinical setting to help lead an emergency medicine program for students entering grades 6 and 7. This is a great opportunity for pre-med or 1st year medical students to gain more hands-on experience and work with professionals in the field while also sharing his/her passion and expertise with students. Instructors teach workshops in anatomy and clinical skills and also lead trips to hospitals, simulation labs, and EMS facilities around the Boston area. Instructors must have good leadership skills, a passion related to the field, and a can-do attitude. They play a major role in residential and student life as a Residential Advisor. Location: St. Mark’s Campus, Southborough, MA. Time period: 7/1/2012 – 8/11/2012; full time, residential position; salary: TBD; full room and board.
