Overview
The Harvard Center for Society and Health focuses on four distinct areas:
- Researching the ways in which social and economic inequalities affect the public's health and well-being;
- Training domestic and international scientists and leaders on the social determinants of health;
- Formulating public- and private-sector policies that strive to improve people's health and quality of life.
- Communicate new findings on the social determinants of health to the general public.
Based at the Harvard School of Public Health , the Center complements the School's programs in social and behavioral sciences, epidemiology, and public policy.
