Where We Are Based

STRIPED works closely with two well-established training programs at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Boston Children’s Hospital, and have a long history of collaboration.

  • The Maternal and Child Health Interdisciplinary Concentration for Children, Youth and Families is directed by Dr. Henning Tiemeier, Sumner and Esther Feldberg Professor of Maternal and Child Health at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. The program is funded by the U.S. Maternal and Child Health Bureau/Health Resources and Services Administration (MC00001; PI Dr. McCormick) and is based within the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
  • The Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH) training program is directed by Dr. Sarah Pitts, Director, Adolescent/Young Adult Medical Fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital; Co-Director, Adolescent Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) and Reproductive Endocrinology and PCOS Programs; Attending Physician, Division of Adolescent/Young Adult Medicine; Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Harvard Medical School. The LEAH training program is funded by the Maternal and Child Heath Bureau/Health Resources and Services Administration (6T71-MC00009; PI Dr. Pitts). Dr. S. Bryn Austin is Director of Fellowship Research Training.
