Marie McCormick, MD, ScD

Dr. McCormick’s research involves epidemiologic and health services research investigations in the areas related to infant mortality and the outcomes of high-risk neonates. She is program director of the Harvard Chan School Maternal and Child Health Interdisciplinary Concentration for Children, Youth and Families and serves on the Committee on Understanding Prematurity and Assuring Healthy Outcomes at the Institute of Medicine as well as the Scientific Advisory Committee at Emmanuel College. She has been awarded many honors, including the David Rall Medal from the Institute of Medicine. Dr. McCormick received her MD from Johns Hopkins Medical School, ScD from Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health, and Honorary Doctor of Human Letters from Emmanuel College.
