Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at HSPH Student Organization

The Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at HSPH Student Organization (QIPS) aims to:

• Raise local awareness and interest about issues in quality and patient safety in health care
• Establish a network of colleagues interested in quality and patient safety across many fields, including medicine, public health, business, policy, and science and technology
• Promote interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration regarding quality and patient safety improvement
• Develop knowledge and skills among emerging professionals regarding quality and patient safety, and engage them to become active participants in health systems improvement
• Partner with other Harvard graduate schools to achieve the previously stated goals across the Harvard University campus
• Partner with other Harvard graduate schools to act as the Harvard University chapter for the  Institute for Health Care Improvement’s Open School for Health Professionals
