The Countway Library of Medicine resources and services are available to all Harvard Chan students, faculty, and staff. Visit Countway’s website at https://countway.harvard.edu/. Through the HOLLIS catalog, you can access materials from all Harvard libraries. This includes an extensive collection of current books and journals, as well as rare books, manuscripts, images, videos, and special collections.
Countway librarians and archivists from the Center for the History of Medicine, Research & Instruction, Publishing and Data Services, and Access services departments provide support for:

Countway librarians might be involved in your Canvas course website as course librarians, where they support discussion groups, provide one-on-one consultations, and provide resource suggestions for assignments.
This world-class collection of resources and expertise is located in the Countway Library, on the Longwood Medical Area campus. The entrance is at 695 Huntington Avenue, next to the Harvard Chan School, with a second entrance at 10 Shattuck Street. Note that a Harvard ID is required to enter the library Sundays through Fridays, though anyone with a government issued Id is welcome to visit on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. The recently renovated building provides an open, social, and community-driven space with plenty of areas for individual or group study. Group study rooms are located on the 2nd floor and lower level 1 (L1). To reserve a group study go to countway.info/studyrooms.
Books on reserve for courses are available in the Russell Reading Room, on the 2nd floor. For assistance with locating materials or spaces in the library, or with accessing and using library resources, visit the information desk on lower level 1.
