Disability Information for Harvard Yard Ceremony

Guests with Disabilities
A seating section for those with disabilities is available in Harvard Yard on Commencement Day. This seating is by reservation and ticket only. To obtain tickets for this section or to have questions answered about services that are available, please contact Marie Trottier, University Disability Coordinator, Holyoke Center, 5th floor, room 547 (telephone: 617-495-1859/TDD 617-495-4801). Arrangements must be made through Marie Trottier before Friday, May 16, 2008.

Please keep in mind that tickets reserved through the University Disability Coordinator are not extra tickets to the Yard ceremony. These tickets must be reserved in advance and then exchanged directly with Marie Trottier for Harvard Yard's general admission tickets (1 for 1 or 2 for 2).

Similar information regarding the Yard ceremony is described on Harvard University's main commencement site.

NOTE: Students should not wait until the deadline to submit their requests to the University Disability Coordinator. Rather, students should call as soon as they know what their needs may be.

Graduates with Disabilities
If you are a graduate with a disability who will require accommodations when marching at the Harvard Yard Ceremony, please contact Marie Trottier, University Disability Coordinator immediately so that proper arrangements can be made. She can be reached at 617-495-1859/TDD 617-495-4801 or via e-mail at marie_trottier@harvard.edu.
