HELP Loan Exit Counseling for International Students
International Students who borrowed a HELP and/or CitiAssist Private loan during their course of study at HSPH are required to complete loan exit counseling in order to graduate. This year, the Office of Student Financial Services will be offering two different types of counseling sessions. The first session will allow HELP borrowers the opportunity to meet with a Citibank representative who will detail what you may expect as a borrower through the Citibank program. The second session is required and will walk students through the electronic exit process.
RECOMMENDED: This session will be presented by a Citibank (HELP lender) representative and is intended to assist students in understanding the terms and conditions of the loans, covering what to expect during repayment, what a student’s estimated monthly payments will be, how to make payments, etc. This is intended to be an interactive session and students are encouraged to come with questions.

All graduating financial aid recipients will be reminded via-email, which will also confirm the location, dates and times of the sessions.
