Minute Papers for Student Feedback - "The Muddiest Point"

How is the content of your class coming across to your students? Consider ending class five minutes early on occasion and ask students to write answers to a few questions about a particular class meeting.

To get feedback on specific content, ask:

1. What was the most important point in the class?
2. What was least clear?
3. What questions do you have?

For more detail, see "The 'Muddiest Point in the Lecture' as a Feedback Device' by Frederick Mosteller.
