What exactly does "furnished" entail?

Each apartment has been equipped with a standard inventory of furniture. Bedrooms include a full size (double) mattress, box spring, bed frame, bookcase, wardrobe closet, chest of drawers, desk, desk chair, desk lamp, and bedside table. Living and dining rooms contain a loveseat, sofa, or lounge chair, an end table, and a kitchen table with chairs or stools for the breakfast bar. Kitchens are equipped with a stove, refrigerator, plates, coffee mugs, glasses, juice cups, a serving platter and bowl, and flatware serving 4 people.

Apartments do not include bed linens, pillows, microwaves, toaster ovens or toasters, dishwashers, air-conditioners, televisions or phones. If you would like to purchase any of these items when you arrive, retail stores are within walking distance of Shattuck House and/or accessible by public transportation.
