The goals of this project are to build sustainable capacity for research on health and its social determinants in low- and middle-income countries, using methods in epidemiology and demography, health economics, environmental health, evaluation sciences. The Harvard Center for Population and Development Studies is one of six partners on the project and will develop, implement and evaluate a set of training activities, many delivered through an Internet-based platform, concerning social determinants of health that can be adopted by the two INTREC centers (located in Indonesia and Ghana).
