Joint Postdoctoral Fellow Position with the Bing Center for
Waldenstrom's Research
We cordially invite applications for a 2-3 year postdoctoral fellow position in
computational biology and bioinformatics, jointly appointed at the Department
of Biostatistics and Computational Biology and the Bing Center for Waldenstrom's Research, at
Harvard School of Public Health and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The work
involves analyzing high-throughput gene expression microarray, SNP microarray,
sequencing, and linkage data of Waldenstr's macroglobulinemia (WM) samples,
developing novel data analysis algorithms and software, and identifying
disease-causing or susceptibility genes. A Ph.D. degree in biostatistics,
computer science, or related fields, familiarity with molecular biology and
genomics, and strong programming skills (in R/S-PLUS, C++ or Python) are
required. Inquires should be addressed to Cheng Li (cli@hsph.harvard.edu).
