Research interests

  • Psychosocial epidemiology: understand how psychological distress/well-being contribute to the prevention of diseases and the maintenance of an optimal physical health through modifiable biological and behavioral factors.
  • Health psychology: psychological adjustment to chronic conditions (e.g. cancer)

Clinical work

Dr. Guimond is a licensed psychologist (Ordre des Psychologues du Québec, Canada) with an expertise in health psychology, anxiety, mood, and sleep disorders (cognitive-behavioral therapy).
