Apple Research App

The future of health research is you.

In the first study of its kind, the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health has teamed up with Apple and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) to gain a deeper understanding of how certain demographic and lifestyle factors could have an impact on menstrual cycles and gynecologic conditions including infertility, menopause, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The cycle tracking data from your iPhone and/or Apple Watch (optional), along with participants’ survey responses, will help inform the development of innovative products for menstrual cycles, risk assessment, and screening of gynecologic conditions.

Research effort you can join

Making the world a healthier place just got a lot easier. Now you can contribute to groundbreaking research studies simply by using your iPhone and/or Apple Watch (optional for joining the study). Your participation in the Apple Women’s Health Study will enable innovative research that would have been impossible before now. We invite you to join one or more studies to make your mark on human health.
