Malaika graduated from Tufts University with a BA in Public Health and Sociology in 2021. Her background is in community health consulting and organizing. Malaika is passionate about health equity and is excited about the implications of studying this critical and understudied subject.

Gowtham Asokan

Gowtham Asokan

Gowtham received a master’s degree in computer science from Boston University. He studied economics and political science in undergrad, with a focus on PR/Media and later specialized in data science in the civic tech space for his MS. Gowtham is excited to elevate health accessibility to women, and especially women in marginalized communities using data science tools and uncovering a very under studied topic.

Mackenzie Collyer

Mackenzie graduated from Roanoke College with a BS in Sport Management and a minor in Communications. She joins the team after spending four years in athletic communications. Mackenzie is excited to help elevate the AWHS social media platforms and share insight about women’s health to the study’s audience.
