Brendan D. Manning Receives Inaugural Armen H. Tashjian, Jr. Award for Excellence in Endocrine Research

Brendan_Manning-copy1To honor his many accomplishments, the friends and family of Dr. Armen H. Tashjian, Jr., Professor of Toxicology, Emeritus, in the Department of Molecular Metabolism, have established the Armen H. Tashjian, Jr. Award for Excellence in Endocrine Research to assist faculty and fellows to pursue innovative research ideas in basic biomedical sciences.

A celebration was held in honor of this year’s inaugural award recipient Brendan D. Manning, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Molecular Metabolism.  Dr. Manning’s lecture was entitled: “Connecting cancer to metabolism through a nutrient sensing signaling network”
