  • Museum of Fine Arts
    Little known fact- on Wednesdays from 4-9:45 pm, admission to the galleries (not special shows) is by voluntary contribution. This is an amazing museum and collection that everyone should go to at least once! mfa.org
  • The Boston Public Library
    The Library is more than just an impressive collection of books. They host special shows, talks, and have an extraordinary series of murals by John Singer Sargent. www.bpl.org
  • The Freedom Trail
    The Freedom Trail is a 2.5 mile red brick/red painted line that travels through Beacon Hill, downtown Boston, the North End and Charlestown which visits sixteen historic sites. http://www.thefreedomtrail.org/
  • The Black Heritage Trail
    The Black Heritage Trail is a walking tour that explores the history of Boston’s 19th century African American community. Guided walking tours are offered by the National Park Service daily, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. A self-guided walking tour map and guide is also available.
