Professor Dave Harrington traveled to Birmingham, Alabama this past weekend to attend the annual Field of Dreams conference hosted by The National Alliance for Doctoral Studies in the Mathematical Sciences. The Field of Dreams Conference introduces potential graduate students to graduate programs in the mathematical sciences at Alliance schools as well as professional opportunities in these fields. Dave participated as an Alliance mentor as well as representing the Department of Biostatistics at the conference. In addition to sharing information about our PhD and masters programs, he recruited students for our Summer Program in Biostatistics and Computational Biology.
