Now in its 9th year, the PQG held another successful conference last week on Single Cell Genomics in the New Research Building at HMS. Approximately 130 people gathered for scientific presentations by keynote speakers George Church, Michael Elowitz, and Sten Linnarsson, who discussed emerging technologies of single-cell analysis and its applications to biomedical research and public health. A diverse group of several other distinguished scientists gave extremely cutting edge presentations on the topic, as well as three junior researchers, including Stephanie Hicks and Michalina Janiszewska, who received the opportunity to present short platform talks during the conference as well.
