Congratulations to all involved with the successful launch of the new HarvardX Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) PH527X: Principles, Statistical and Computational Tools for Reproducible Science.
Taught by instructors Curtis Huttenhower, John Quackenbush, Lorenzo Trippa, and Christine Choirat, the course helps students learn skills and tools that support data science and reproducible research, to ensure they can trust their own research results, reproduce them, and communicate them to others.
The course launched November 8th with over 1,000 students enrolled in the course from 107 countries, with 27% from the United States followed by 8% from India, 5% from Brazil, 3.6% from UK and 3.5% from Germany.
