Summer Career Development Events & Resources

Career Development Series

We hope that summer is off to a productive start.  Several events will be offered over the summer months, and any of our *current* students, postdocs, faculty and staff, are welcome to take part in this series.  If you are interested in joining us as a guest, or have ideas regarding speakers or programs for the upcoming academic year, please contact Dr. Erin Lake.
Summer Internship/Research-Project Round Table: what’s working and what’s not?

Many of our students have embarked on virtual experiences for the summer, and many wish to connect with peers on their experiences thus far.  Some have had difficulty securing positions, some have seen roles shift significantly in scope and purpose due to the pandemic, while the experience of others has been smooth.  Join us for an informal discussion — the topics of which may help to shape approaches and visions around such opportunities for the fall and upcoming academic year on this front. All current master’s students in Biostatistics, HDS, and CBQG involved in summer internships or research projects are encouraged to attend, as well as any PhD students for which this information sharing session might be useful.  Your voices and input are important!

*Please feel free (not required) to send along topics, insights or questions in advance via this form.
